Introduction
- The Tile Peoples “Win $1500 Promotion” begins 8.00am EST Monday, January 16th 2012 and ends 5.00pm EST Wednesday 29th February 2012.
- All TTP stores have varying trading hours which may inadvertently affect the opening and closing dates of the sale. Please check our website for details on specific store trading hours.
Eligibility & Method of Entry
- To be eligible to enter the competition an entry form must be fully completed (in store). Entries will be accepted throughout the entire duration of the registration period during store opening hours. Incomplete, incomprehensible or late entries (whichever is applicable) will not be eligible and will be disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry to which in the opinion of the Promoter includes any content which may be unlawful, profane, inflammatory, defamatory and/or damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter.
- Entrants must be aged 18 years and over and permanent residents of Victoria and Tasmania.
- One entry per customer will only be accepted. Any person who is discovered to have used or attempted to use more than one name in entering the Promotion will be disqualified from participating in the Promotion and/or redeeming a prize.
- Should an entrants contact details change during the promotion, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
Draw
- The draw will take place after the completion of the promotion on 10th March 2012, 3pm at The Tile People Head Office, 136 Makland Drive, Derrimut VIC 3030.
- 5 completed entry forms will be drawn, each valued at $1500. Total value of $7500.
- Subject to State regulations, in the event that the Promoter becomes aware that the same person has been selected as a prize winner more than once, the Promoter will cause another name to be drawn/selected in their place.
Notification and Prize Collection
- The winning entrants will be notified by phone and letter with details on where to collect the winning voucher. Winners will be required to collect the voucher from the store the entrant submitted the entry form.
- Details of prize winners will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian on 20th March 2012.
- All prize winners must sign these Terms and Conditions in a form prescribed by the Promoter in order to receive their prize.
- Prize winners must provide proof of identity, and/or proof of residency and proof of entry validity (for example a phone bill) in order to claim a prize. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
Prize Conditions
- Winning entrants have 6 months from date of notification to use the $1500 voucher.
- Prizes unclaimed after a period of three months will be forfeited subject to State regulations.
- $1500 voucher can be used to purchase any product in-store at the location the entrant has selected on the entry form.
- Products are based on full retail price (AUD)– no discounts apply.
- No returns on product purchases.
- $1500 promotion is not a “cash back” promotion but a voucher to redeem on a future purchase. The prize is not redeemable for cash. Products purchases over the value of the prize ($1500), the winner must pay the difference.
- If a prize winner does not take any element of a prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and the cash will not be awarded in lieu of that prize of any part of it.
- Vouchers are transferrable upon authorization from the winning entrant, but must be in person. A drivers license or photo identification of the winning entrant must be provided.
- The Promoter may (subject to State Regulations) vary the terms of, or terminate, this Promotion at any time at is absolute discretion without liability to any entrant or other person. The Promoter will not award the prize if the Promotion is terminated.
- Account customers will also be excluded from this promotion unless authorised by store owners.
- Builders customers are eligible to enter the competition, but the voucher may not be used to claim against products chosen in their tile selection. As part of the building contract this includes any standard and upgrade products.
- Staff and suppliers and immediate families of The Tile People are not eligible to enter the competition.
- Details of entrants will be used for future Tile People sales and promotions only if the entrant has selected that they wish to be informed of these events.
Tampering and other matters
- If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned as a result of any (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorized intervention, computer virus, mobile phone failure, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to State regulations) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or any draw/s or judging related to the Promotion and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) caused the same.
Release and Indemnity
- To the extent permitted by law, all entrants release from, and indemnify the Promoter against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the Promotion including (but not limited to) loss or income, loss of opportunity, personal injury and damage to property, whether direct of consequential, forseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
Decisions Final
- All decisions and actions of the Promoter relating to the Promotion and/or redemption of the prizes are exercised accordingly at its absolute discretion and are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into.
