The Tile People Balwyn (Kefton Ceramics) has been is an institution in the local area for over 15 years, but the Hynes Family, now the owners of The Tile People Balwyn, have been in the tiling industry for over 40. Combined with our other stores, The Tile People Hoppers Crossing and The Tile People Eltham, as well as our distribution centre and head office, we employ over 60 dedicated people that have made the Hynes Group of stores what it is today.

Delivery/Pick Up Service

We offer a delivery service to anywhere in the metro and regional areas everyday. We hand unload, or crane/fork unload on site, and take away any rubbish or pallets on completion. For pick ups we can conveniently fork your order directly onto a trailer or ute, or for smaller orders into the boot of your car. Pick ups can be done from anyone of our stores, or direct form our distribution centre in Williamstown.

Selection/Measure and Quote Service

We offer a free comprehensive tile selection service and have all major laminates, stone bench top, carpet and paint samples to help with colour choice. We can organise scale elevations drawings if needed, and offer an in store measure and quotes service.

For a more detailed selection service, our interior/exterior colour consultants – Mango Design, can offer a tailored package to suit your needs and budget.

Payment methods

We accept all major credit cards, direct deposits, or cash. Accounts for Builders and Trades are also available on request – conditions apply.

Lay-by Service and Conditions

For your convenience, we offer a lay-by service with a payment plan, when a 20% deposit is made on the initial order. Long term storage is also available when goods are fully paid for. – ask our staff for more details
